You'll build your confidence to respond appropriately in both community and care settings\, ensuring no child is left behind. \nLearning Outcomes: By the end of the session participants will…\nUnderstand why disabled children are more vulnerable to harm. \nIdentify risk factors and additional barriers in safeguarding. \nAddress communication challenges and promote dignity. \nRecognise the impact of environment and family setting. \nApply effective safeguarding strategies for disabled children. \nPlease Note: this course is designed for individuals who have previously completed Safeguarding Children: A Multi-Agency Responsibility training. It will expand on the topics covered in that course with a specific focus on complex issues and dilemmas in safeguarding disabled children.
