Take part in this practical course to develop the confidence and skills to ask about domestic violence and take meaningful action. You'll learn how to reduce harm and support those affected, making a real difference through your multi-agency practice.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of the session participants will…

Identify indicators of domestic violence and abuse.

Practice safe and effective responses to disclosures.

Apply good practice in targeted enquiry and risk identification.

Understand confidentiality and information sharing responsibilities.

Follow appropriate referral pathways for those at risk.

Please Note: for this course there is a requirement to complete pre-course work and the Domestic Abuse Practitioner Standard: Level 1 Course. Therefore, applications must be received at least 7 working days prior to the course start date.
