Public Health

Public health is all about helping everyone stay healthy and happy. It means looking after the health of whole communities, not just one person. We try to stop illnesses before they even start and make sure everyone has a fair chance to be healthy.

Our work supports people at every stage of life — from giving children the best start, to helping adults and older people stay well. We look at things people can change themselves, like healthy habits, as well as bigger things around them, like housing, money, schools, and the environment.
