This training session is designed to support professionals, volunteers, and frontline workers who engage with children, young people, or adults at risk across South Tyneside.
The session will explore how to recognise the signs of abuse or neglect, how to respond appropriately, and how to escalate concerns using the correct local procedures. Whether you’re new to safeguarding or looking to refresh your knowledge, this interactive session will build confidence, improve your understanding of multi-agency working, and reinforce your responsibilities in keeping people safe.
Participants will receive up-to-date resources and guidance in line with local and national safeguarding frameworks.
